Happy Recreation

Below is our 30 second recreation of the popular summer song of 2013 'Happy' by Pharrell Williams. For this task we were to study the original music video to find out about how the pacing, staging, lighting and other aspects can be used to create a music video that perfectly matches the song.

Here is the original music video. You can see how we followed the structure of this by using short clips of dancing and singing in various locations which in effect showed that happiness and laughter spreads - I believe that this was the message that Pharrell wanted to create in this particular video. We also mimicked the pacing as we used fast cuts; each clip had little screen time which kept up with the beat and tone of the song.
